A US-based technology company has launched eSocialMint, a platform designed to combine social media functionalities with virtual event capabilities.
The platform, which was launched recently in Lagos, aims to redefine how users interact, celebrate, and conduct meetings online.
The platform uses advanced hologram technology that allows people to appear live in event locations virtually, which can feel like being there in person.
Speaking during the launching, the eSocialMint innovator and IT architect, Fisayo Olamigoke, described the app as a hybrid social media platform that blends various interactive features, making it suitable for both web and mobile users.
“eSocialMint is designed to redefine how events and meetings are held and experienced worldwide,” Olamigoke said.
He emphasised the capability of the app to serve both professionals and institutions, from public to governmental sectors, saving time and reducing the need for physical travel.
This application also has a feature that allows users to celebrate and engage with event hosts by spraying money virtually.
The eSprayMe offers a digital version, so people can still observe this tradition online without using real cash.
