Christmas in Mexico is a party

Day 2 of our 12 Days of Christmas, we explore Mexico’s unique Christmas traditions, starting with Las Posadas, a nine-day celebration reenacting Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter.

Homes light up with luminarias, streets fill with piñatas, and the grand Nochebuena (Christmas eve) feast is the highlight, featuring tamales, bacalao, and ponche. It’s a season of colour, culture, and community.

If you’re a fan of traditions with flair, this one’s for you!
