In Asa, a community in Ogun State, residents are plagued by a perpetual struggle to access potable water.

In an exclusive interview with PUNCH Healthwise, members of the community revealed their dire circumstances, including the absence of boreholes and reliable wells.

This has led to a desperate search for water, with residents forced to fetch contaminated water from nearby streams and rivers or embark on arduous journeys across the border to the Benin Republic in search of clean water.
