According to WIMIN, the event will showcase exquisite gold and gemstone jewellery, cutting-edge mining technologies, and sustainable practices.

Adeyemi expressed excitement about the growth of WIMIN and the impact of the GGCE, adding, “This event is a testament to the power of women in the mining industry. By providing a platform for collaboration and empowerment, we are driving positive change and shaping the future of Nigeria’s gemstone sector.”

The Chairman of the WIMIN Gold and Gemstone Conference and Exhibition, Adesuwa Dan-Princewill, highlighted the importance of value addition in the mining sector and the necessity for collaboration.

“WIMIN GGCE Lagos provides a unique platform for the jewellery trade in Nigeria. By bringing together women from across the continent, we are fostering innovation and driving value addition in the mining sector,” she declared.

The Head of SMEs, Partnerships, and Collaborations at Ecobank Nigeria, Omoboye Odu, stated that the bank’s support aligned with its corporate social responsibility goals.

She emphasised the initiative’s role in supporting professional organisations that contribute to the nation’s economic development.
