A graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State, Adewumi Adeola, who underwent amputation due to a diabetic foot diagnosis, has shared her emotional experience of losing a limb.
In an exclusive interview with PUNCH, Adeola recounts the incident that led to her amputation, revealing that she was asked to sign a consent form acknowledging a 50-50 chance of success before the procedure.
Adeola also shared how she has adapted to her new reality, seeking support to acquire a prosthetic leg, which will enable her to regain mobility and independence.
