XChangeBox gets recognition



XChangeBox has been honoured with the award of Fintech Startup of the Year in the West Africa Startup Awards category at the Global Startup Awards Africa.

In a statement on Friday, the co-founder of XChangeBox, Abiola Jimoh, expressed enthusiasm about the recognition, saying, “We are delighted to announce that XChangeBox has been awarded the Fintech Startup of the Year.”.

“Our work is reshaping the informal economy by providing rural traders and market women with access to credit, health insurance through affordable daily plans, digitizing records, and offering financial literacy on savings via wallets.”

Xchange Box is a tech-solution-driven company in the fintech space with strength in agency banking, enterprise solutions and other ancillary tech-based services.

Jimoh restated the company’s commitment to partnerships and extended gratitude to supporters.

“We are always big on partnerships, and thank you all for your votes,” he declared.

The Xchange Box cofounder reiterated that the company would continue to support rural businesses with basic services (microcredit, payments, pension and health insurance) through collaboration with players across the board.

The Global Startup Awards, the largest independent international startup awards platform, aims to identify and connect entrepreneurs and startups globally.
